Waters Families,

There will be a combined Shelter-in-Place and Lockdown Drill on Wednesday morning. Each year we are required by the district to do each of these two drills once. The point of this drill is for practice and for students to know what to do in a given situation. We are not trying to induce anxiety or create an intense experience. Last year, we were able to complete the combined exercise in less than 5 minutes. Our teachers will be speaking with students about the drills in a developmentally appropriate manner on Tuesday. Our counselor, social worker and school leadership will also be available to support students.

There are signups for Coffee with the Principal and a Focus Group for the Garden below in the important dates section.

If you don’t have plans for tomorrow, it is family day a the Museum of Contemporary Art.
