We would like to say a special thank you to everyone who attended our Annual General Meeting last week! It was so lovely to welcome people to our first in-person AGM since the Covid-19 pandemic.

MK Library Drop-In

There is no Drop-In at MK Central Library this week but we will be returning on Tuesday 1st November with Age UK, Digital Champions!

Cost of Living

We are continuing discussions with the local VCSE groups about a coordinated response to support the local communities in Milton Keynes during the Cost Of Living Crisis. We would love the wider sector to get involved.

Opportunity of the Week

FoodCycle

This week’s guest blog comes from FoodCycle, a charity who tackle food waste and loneliness through community dining, providing opportunities for great food and conversation.

FoodCycle are looking to serve a weekly community meal at 12:30pm on Fridays at the Old Bath House in Wolverton.

Ukraine War & Refugee Response

Supporting the Crisis in Ukraine | Supporting Refugees in Milton Keynes

We are continuing to support the local VCSE groups and organisations in Milton Keynes who are involved in assisting those arriving in the region from Ukraine. If you would like to be involved in the Coordinated Response, please email support@communityactionmk.org.

We have recently launched a page on our website dedicated to resources and information for people arriving from Ukraine and the hosts and organisations providing support.
