The upcoming meeting is very important because we will be voting for special committee members (essentially the board members that will lead us to our first annual meeting in March).

Agenda

Vote on Interim Board Members: We will be electing (as few as 3 and up to 15) interim Board Members (Special Committee election). Everyone who has taken part of this process at any point over the last 9 months is asked and encouraged to come to this meeting. Even if you have not participated before, and you are a merchant, service provider, property owner or resident of Old Town Albuquerque, you have a vote and you are invited.

  • 5:00 pm: Discuss the goal of the meeting and how the election process works. (10m)

  • 5:10 pm: Example election process. Please bring a smart device (phone, iPad, computer) to the meeting to help expedite the voting process. (15m)

  • 5:20 pm: Nominations & Voting: For those interested in being a board member, please come prepared and read the Nominations section below.

Bring a smart device (smart phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) to help expedite the voting process.

Nominations: If you or someone you know would like to be considered for an interim board position:

  • The nominee must be a: resident, property owner, merchant or service provider, for a property within the Historic Old Town Albuquerque Overlay Zone.

  • The nominee must be prepared to state their interest in serving as a board member.

There will be another email to detail the voting process, but suffice to say this will be our first vote and patience will be needed as we try to exercise the requirements of these unique bylaws.
