Remembrance Day
White Eagle Memorial Preserve's annual work party and gathering to tend graves, grief, and the memories of our ancestors -

Please join us Sunday October 30th, 10am - 4pm.
RSVP: WhiteEagle@ekone.org

This gathering in service to the land and the spirits of our loved ones is a yearly tradition at White Eagle - please join us for an intentional, by donation only, experience of being together in grief and honor and practice.

  • Join us for some productive time together on the land Sunday October 30th, 10am – 4pm.

  • We gather in the Ekone Ranch Valley to begin the day together, then split into smaller groups for project work, to prepare the burial ground for winter.

  • We’ll share a fire circle lunch of soup and soul cakes, and then some Ceremony around the fire and quiet time on the land for reflection.

  • Wear sturdy work clothes, bring gloves and hand tools if you like, and personal snacks and water bottles.

  • This event will be entirely outside and we take covid precautions seriously. Please home test before coming if possible and stay home if you feel unwell.

  • WEMP stewards will be available to answer questions about natural burial. Site purchases from this event are discounted 10%.

  • RSVP with Jodie: whiteeagle@ekone.org and please let us know if you have dietary considerations for lunch.
