Have you heard about Fresh Express?
Fresh Express is a new student-led emergency food assistance program, striving to serve balanced meals to students through non-perishables and fresh produce from local Athens-Clarke county partners. The pantry is located on the first floor of Joe Frank Harris Dining Commons and is open for pickups Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy weekly fresh produce from the UGArden as well as a selection of dry/canned goods. The UGA Office of Sustainability is now accepting Campus Sustainability Grant proposals from current UGA students! Grants up to $5,000 are available to those who wish to initiate projects that advance sustainability through education, research, service, or campus operations.
