SUNDAY: Ground Game Hosts South Texas Rally With Sen. Bernie Sanders in Support of Michelle Vallejo
 

Austin, TX (Monday, October 24, 2022) - On Sunday, October 30th at 11 AM, Senator Bernie Sanders will join a South Texas Rally in support of TX-15 Congressional candidate Michelle Vallejo, hosted by Ground Game, The Texas AFL-CIO, and Working Families Party.

Sen. Sanders has endorsed Vallejo in her race against Trump endorsed candidate Monica De La Cruz. Texas’ 15th Congressional District is the most competitive seat in the state of Texas.

About Michelle Vallejo:
Michelle Vallejo is a small business owner, community leader, and the people-powered candidate South Texans need to bring their voices to Washington. Michelle was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and comes from a family of farm workers, immigrants, and entrepreneurs. Her family has run Pulga Los Portales, a local flea market and community hub, for nearly 25 years, and she now runs the business with her dad. When Michelle was a student at Columbia University, tragedy struck when her mother passed away following a 15-year-long battle with multiple sclerosis.
