   🌟 Community of Practice Update:

From NYC:

Fordham CSTAC-NYC has revamped its Community of Practice for New Community School Directors to meet the changing needs of these critical building leaders. The fall institute has focused on capacity building for CSDs new to the role, sharing critical strategies and resources while also building a sustainable and mutually supportive network for new and developing CSDs.

The final session for this fall cohort of more than two dozen new CSDs focuses on designing a budget, organizing a collaborative planning meeting with school building leaders, and establishing cycles of continuous improvement.

Further support for New CSDs was explored in the first session of our Regional Conference, which focused on how school building leaders can better understand the role of the Community School Director. That session can be viewed here.

Introduced to you in May 2022, The ETAC's Community School Implementation RoadMap tool is designed based on the work of the University of North Carolina's National Implementation Research Network (NIRN).

The purpose of the RoadMap tool is to provide schools with a comprehensive set of tools to help implement the community school strategy. The ETAC RoadMap tool is user-friendly with links provided to support each stage of community school implementation, from exploration to full implementation.
