The State recidivism rate stands at 67.08%; with more than 900 individuals released each month. 

A 67.08% recidivism rate means that 67 of every 100 men and women released from prison will reoffend within 3 years, and two thirds of those, will reoffend within 6 months.

That means that of the 900 released each month, approximately 482 of them will be back in prison within a year of their release.
