At this time of year, we are reminded of how much we have to be thankful for.  Abrazos is grateful for the opportunity to serve children and families in our communities.  We wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with that which you hold most dear.

             Abrazos Selected for United Way               Day of Caring - Sandoval County

 
     
Thank you United Way! 
 

Day of Caring is United Way's largest nationwide volunteer day in which citizens can make a difference in their communities. On September 17 Abrazos hosted over 30 volunteers who gave up their Saturday to make our campus a more welcoming and accessible place to work and receive services.  
     A special thank you to JPR Gravel, Rio Rancho Kiwanis Club, Rio Rancho Mayor Greg Hull, the Cibola High School Football Team, and all of the volunteers who joined us

PNM Reduce Your Use
 

    Thank you again to PNM Reduce Your Use for supporting Abrazos Family Support Services!  These funds will be used to improve our campus to be more energy efficient and ensure staff safety.

Welcome Yvette!


Yvette is Abrazo's new Respite and Family Living Program Manager, and she brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm!  She loves children and is a huge sports fan.  She also likes to read, listen to music and take long walks with her dogs.   
                                          

 
Welcome Bethannie!
 
Bethannie is our newest Registered Behavioral Technician.  Bethannie prefers to spend her time outdoors; whether that’s hiking, rock climbing, or snowboarding: if she is not outside, she'll be in a comfy chair with a book.

Career Opportunities at Abrazos


Development Director - Abrazos is looking for a candidate to join our agency full time as a Development Director responsible for major gifts, planned giving, sponsorship development, corporate and private fundraising, grant writing and community outreach.

Family Service Coordinator- Abrazos is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who will work directly with families to access and coordinate community-based services, as a member of a team in our Early Intervention program.  

Independent Contractors - Abrazos is looking for energetic and passionate Independent Contractors to join our team of professionals.  We are seeking the following the following independent positions:
  • Occupational, Physical or Speech-language Therapists to work as a member of a team to provide in-home services to families in our Early Intervention program. 
  • Respite Providers to give families a break from their caregiving duties in the Respite program. 
  • A Nurse for our Family Living Program.
