Happy Holidays!

'Tis the season to wish one another much joy and love and peace!

SECA volunteers are pleased to provide these three opportunities for families to reconnect, in the great outdoors, during this festive season.

We hope to see lots of residents attending. #PlayLocal !!
TOMORROW (Sat. Dec. 10th)  is our last ART in the PARK program of the year.

Creative fun for the whole family! Bring your children, grandchildren and/or nieces and nephews!

  • Ideal for ages 2-10 years, accompanied by an adult.
  • Older and younger siblings are welcome too.

Try a variety of art materials, nature art, sensory play, stories, games, and songs with Educator, Author, and Graduate Student Art Therapist Tammy Thomson.

  • We'll be in the Park at 1611 Evergreen Dr. SW.
  • Park along Evergreen Grove SW to find us.

Special for this festive session, children can warm up to new friends with a cup of hot cocoa around our low-smoke campfire.

In November's  Urban Wild session with our 2 to 6 year olds, Alex provided cinnamon spiced apples for the children to roast in foil packets on the fire. Delicious!
