This Sunday, we will gather for our worship service in Brown Chapel at 10:30am. In addition, our Sunday Schools for adults, kids, and teens, will take place beginning at 9am.

If you're newer to the SDFC community and would be interested in formally becoming a member of our church, then be sure to mark your calendars and join us for a Membership Class being taught by Pastor Dee Kelley next Saturday, October 29 from 8:30-11:30am.
This class is a great way to learn a little bit more about our church history, beliefs, and opportunities to serve & get involved!

Pastor' Appreciation Month

October is Pastor's Appreciation Month...
The past two and a half years have been an incredibly challenging and uncertain time in the life of our church. Many extra responsibilities and unknowns have been encountered by our church staff. Please take your time this month to share your thanks for all our pastoral staff has done to oversee our return to in-person worship, rebuilding of church ministries and programming, and more!

Save the Date! On Friday, November 4, SDFC Kids is sponsoring a Parent's Night Out from 5-7:30pm! We'll provide childcare at the church for kids ages 0 – 5th grade while their parents are able to enjoy an evening together!
Pre-registration required; CLICK HERE to register online! Cost per child is $10 ($20 max per family).

SIGN-UPS BEGIN THIS SUNDAY!
Stop by the whiteboard in the foyer of Brown Chapel before or after church this Sunday and sign-up to donate items to our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive!
Your donations will go to benefit Southeast San Diego Church of the Nazarene. Every year, this church hosts a holiday meal the week of Thanksgiving for those in need.
Thank you for joining us to support our local ministry partners this Thanksgiving!

It's not too late to join our adult Christmas Choir for this year! These singers prepare throughout the Fall for our annual Joyful Sounds of Christmas services, happening on Sunday, December 4.

We host open gym Pickleball Nights every other Thursday in the FLC from 6-8:30pm. Come to compete or learn how to play!

- The Parker Family: Please continue to join Marti Parker in prayer for her husband, Rick, along with two friends, Jeff & Lee, as they recover from injuries following a head-on collision last week.
- The Boles Family: Please be in prayer for Wayne Boles and his family following the recent passing of his wife, Frances. A memorial service is scheduled for October 29 at 2pm in SDFC's Ellipse Chapel. Reception to follow on the Friendship Plaza.
- Kay Kelley: Thank you for your continued prayers for Kay in the midst of her ongoing health challenges, as well as following the recent loss of her mother. Kay and family are grateful for your continued prayers
