New Template: Celebrating MLK Day 2023
Back by popular demand, a reading challenge template celebrating the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is now available! This template honors the life and legacy of this prominent leader of the civil rights movement. Logging reading and completing activities commemorating his achievements is a great way to share your library's collection on the same topic. This template is available now in your challenge template library and all challenge materials can be found on the help center here.

Bilingual Summer Badge Books: Presale for Summer 2023 Starts NOW!
Our bilingual Summer Badge Books are officially available for presale! This edition of the Summer Badge Book is a bilingual reading log and calendar that acts as a companion to your library’s summer reading challenge. As families track their reading on the Beanstack web and mobile apps, kids (ages 5–10) earn badges matched to stickers in the book. The Summer Badge Book is bound in a durable coated softcover, with lay-flat binding that makes writing and drawing easy. It includes reading logs, activities, and tons of stickers to last all summer long.

New Episode: The Reading Culture Podcast Welcomes Varian Johnson
Episode 3 has arrived! This week on The Reading Culture, our co-founder Jordan Bookey welcomes Varian Johnson to the show. Listen on Apple, Google, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. Varian, author of "The Parker Inheritance," "Twins," and "Playing the Cards You’re Dealt," discusses his own journey to writing (he started out as an engineer!) and the importance of the relationship between author and reader.
