SAFF News

Thanks to everyone who stopped by last weekend at Rhinebeck! It was a beautiful weekend and we enjoyed helping you pick out new projects.

We're at SAFF this weekend. If you're in the Asheville area, we'd love to see you there, it's a great show with a relaxed atmosphere. If you can't, we're excited to share our SAFF colorway with you online, too!

Orchid Fantasia

SAFF 2022 Colorway

For our SAFF 2022 show colorway, we've indulged in some fantasy florals. Each purplish-pink skein is speckled with varying amounts of blue, brown, and darker purple.

You can see all the yarns dyed in this colorway by visiting our Orchid Fantasia colorway collection.

Bliss Yarns Trunk Show

Our final trunk show of 2022 will be held at Bliss Yarns, in Brentwood, TN, from November 4-5. We're sending a great selection of our yarns, samples from our Fall 2022 Pattern Collection, and more inspiration for you. The selection will include sweater quantities in Yowza, Killington, Yummy 2-Ply, Keira, Intrepid, Moonglow, and Kunlun, plus some Sojourn, Yowza Minis, Toes, Holston, and K2.

Test Knitters wanted

Several designers have opened test knits for our Winter 2023 collection. If you are interested in test knitting, please check out the threads in our Ravelry group.

Harvest Plenty

If you missed our 2022 Rhinebeck show colorway, we have more online on lots of our yarns. Warm autumnal shades of orange, red, and purple are splashed and speckled over a neutral gray background in this colorway.

2022 Festive Update

We are working hard to put together all of the mini skeins and goodies for our 2022 Festive Sets to ship in mid-November. We are thrilled to announce 2 new colorways for this year - one with rich deep tones that we're calling Old Masters, and one with beautiful peachy sand through a full range of purples for Ambah O'Brien's Allsorts Cape.

Old Masters is a YARN ONLY set - no notions or project bag will be included.

Cloud Forest Wrap
by Michael Harrigan

Michael writes, "I remember experiencing a cloud forest for the first time quite a few years ago on a trip to Costa Rica. High up on a mountain, and in the clouds, the greens of the vegetation would change as the cloud cover intensified and then waned. I decided to use Yet for this accessory because it's perfect for lace and is such a luxurious blend of merino and silk, and the colorways – Rainforest and Kitesurfing  –  in combination with the stitch patterns because to me they are evocative of the play of light on the vegetation of high-altitude cloud forests." The Cloud Forest Wrap pattern is available on Ravelry and LoveCrafts.
