Survey for AG's Office on Environmental Justice and Energy Equity

The MA Attorney General’s Office is looking at whether the Dept. of Public Utilities & Environmental Facilities Siting Board processes are accessible to everyone. They are inviting feedback about participation in government proceedings that affect our daily lives like energy utility rates and siting for energy infrastructure projects. Their stated goal is to promote environmental justice and energy equity. Climate Action Now encourages people across the state to fill out this 10 minute survey.

As the Dept. of Energy Resources (DOER) considers ways to meet our state's solar needs, they invite residents to offer feedback about solar development and land use priorities. DOER has commissioned a study, “Technical Potential of Solar Study"and is inviting feedback via a survey. Go here  for the survey.

Solving the Winter Energy Problem Webinar

Year-after-year, ISO-NE, New England’s regional electric grid operator, announces the region may have inadequate energy supplies to power the entire electric system without blackouts during the winter. Join Acadia Center’s Amy Boyd and Melissa Birchard as they pull back the curtain on this question and present the clean energy solutions we can look towards to finally solve this problem.  Hadley residents will vote on October 27th on A Resolution Declaring a Climate Crisis! You can read the full draft of the resolution here. If you live in Hadley, please join the Town Meeting at Hopkins Academy,  131 Russell Street on Thursday, October 27th at 7PM. If you have friends in Hadley, please help spread the word!
