This beautiful Green Palmatum is 10ft for $998.
Those leaves on the Japanese Maples have been actively helping the tree grow. Each leaf contains a pigment called chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the most common pigment in a leaf and it absorbs the sun’s rays to turn sunlight into food and energy for the tree. When the temperature drops and there is less daylight, the tree begins to conserve energy. Once the chlorophyll breaks down, the other pigments will start to show off. Every tree has a different combination of pigments which gives leaves their unique colors.
The temperature and rainfall can affect the brightness of these colors.
In the Nursery, we have these trees above ground and this will affect color change and drop times. It is a great time to plant these beautiful trees, but this will also change the coloring and droppage. That being said, we have tons of Japanese Maples available like this beautiful Green Palmatum 10 foot for $998.
