Fellow BBS Members:

October has flown by and we had another great month supporting Luke AFB.  This month the FCF Board of Directors held their annual strategic planning meeting, which was kicked off with lunch and some grateful words from Brig. Gen. Rueschhoff and Chief Shaffer.  The board then completed a tour of the past successful projects and planned projects for the base.  The FCF Board is constantly looking for ways to assist Luke AFB and is challenging all of us to effectively communicate our purpose.  We have a great website at www.fightercountry.org and want to remind everyone of these principles:
  • OUR MISSION
SUPPORT THE MEN, WOMEN, FAMILIES, AND MISSION OF LUKE AFB.
  • OUR VISION
FIGHTER COUNTRY FOUNDATION WILL BE THE LEADER IN THE VALLEY OF THE SUN IN ENHANCING THE MORALE AND WELL-BEING, CULTURE AND TRADITION, AND SUSTAINABILITY OF LUKE AFB.
  • VALUE PROPOSITION
BUILD LONG-TERM POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE LUKE AFB COMMUNITY AND THE VALLEY OF THE SUN.

On October 6th, Base leadership conducted the Honorary Commander class farewell ceremony, which opened the door for FCF to begin the process of invitations for the 2020-2022 HC Class to join the BBS.  Those invitations are officially being distributed in November and we look forward to inducting the new Golf Class of BBS at our annual meeting. Tentative date and location for this meeeting is January 19, 2023 at Luke AFB.

Finally, Charlie Class is hosting our next Happy Hour Hit Squad on November 16th.  We look forward to providing some additional in-person updates at that event.  I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Enjoy the great weather and feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or are looking for ways to get more involved.

Cheers!
