Happy Friday!

The PUPPETS are selling their Cinnamon Rolls this Sunday! Plan to get your breakfast here. It is also Camp Luther Sunday. A representative from camp will be leading Sunday School.

The Bethlehem Walk is coming together. We are still in need of lots of volunteers to pull it off, however. No acting is required, you would just need to greet people who come to your shop and "sell" them your product. Costumes are provided. You can help one or both days (Dec 2 and 3 from 4-7pm). Families are encouraged to volunteer together. Youth are welcome to help as well! Let us know ASAP if you can help.

We are also in need of canopies (10x10 or 10x20) for our shops that will be set-up in the gym. Let us know if we can borrow yours.

The next meeting of the couple's Bible Study is Sunday, November 6 at 2 pm. Contact Tim and Cheri Sterzinger at 715-387-2606 or email at sterz4@charter.net if interested. There is room for a few more couples.

Only one more week to get donations for our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Donations must be in by the end of the month. See below for the list.

Upcoming dates to know:
October 23 - Cinnamon Rolls
October 30 - Potato Pancake Brunch

The Elders are hosting a Potato Pancake Brunch on Reformation Sunday (October 30). It will be held after service until around 12:30pm (so families can eat after Sunday School). It is free, but donations are welcome. If you plan to come, please sign-up on the lectern in the narthex. The menu will be potato and regular pancakes, sausages, eggs, cheese, and applesauce.
"Thank-you for all the prayers, cards, and visits for Dawn during her long illness.  She was so thankful for the outpouring of love and concern from our church family.  Thank-you also for all who attended the visitation, funeral and meal, along with all that gave their condolences afterwards.  Your presence, love, and kind words gave our family comfort during a very difficult time.  Thank-you to the funeral reception committee for an amazing job as well. Finally, thank-you Pastor Andrew for the visits to the hospital and our home sharing song, God's word, and the Lord's supper with us, several times late in the evening, along with the night Dawn went home to be with her Lord.  Thanks be to God!".

We are once again planning on filling 150 plus shoebox gifts for children around the world! Donations are accepted through the end of October. You are also welcome to grab a box from the display in the Fellowship Hall to fill yourself.
Items needed:
School Supplies (pens, markers, crayons, small notebooks, scissors, erasers, calculators, glue sticks, colored pencils, pencils sharpeners, etc.)

Hygiene Supplies (Bar of soap, wash cloth, individually packaged toothbrush, hair brush/comb, band-aids, dental floss, etc.)

WOW items (small toys, cars, stuffed animals, jump ropes, yo-yo, small dolls, play-doh, balls, sunglasses, hair accessories, flip flops, socks, plastic water bottle, playing cards, small musical instruments, etc).

NO liquids, military related items, seeds, food, candy, chocolate, breakable items, toothpaste.

Items must be small enough to fit in a standard sized shoebox.
We are taking a trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum next summer. You can find the flier with more information in the Narthex. Price is per person based on the number of people you have in your room. There is a lot of interest, so make sure to sign-up on the table in the Narthex soon.

(Tickets for children 10 and under are free, which will save around $80. Children 11-17 also have a reduced price).
The Bethlehem Walk is back! It will be December 2 and 3 from 4-7pm. Lots of volunteers are needed to make it happen. If you can help, please let Tammy or the office know ASAP. Work nights will be held November 15 and 22 from 6-8pm. Set-up is November 26 at 9am.
