Sent to State Family, Grand Knights, Deputy Grand Knights, Financial Secretaries and some Directors.
The State Council is sad to announce that Paul Michael Gagnet went to his eternal rest on October 15, 2022.

His presence will be greatly missed.  He was a great brother knight, a wonderful father, and a fantastic friend.

Uncle Paul joined the Knights of Columbus almost 40 years ago in 1983, and he held many positions at the council, assembly, district and state level, including Grand Knight, District Deputy, Faithful Navigator, State Program Director, State Online Membership Coordinator, and State Membership Director. He was a member of Marquette Council 1437 and Bienville Assembly 314.

In 2021, he received the Louisiana State Council’s highest individual honor when the Advisory Board of the Past State Deputies chose Paul Gagnet as that year’s recipient of the Past State Deputies’ Award.  This award is given annually to a Louisiana Brother Knight who has exemplified loyal service to the Church, responsible citizenship to the country, and outstanding dedication to the principles of Columbianism.

He will be laid to rest on Thursday, October 20, 2022.
