Introduction to Exploitation for Frontline Workers
|
|
|
A new ‘Introduction to exploitation for frontline workers’ training module has been developed by the Pathfinder Project, in partnership with NSAB, NSCP and NCCSP. The module helps those working with children or vulnerable adults understand risks of exploitation, and what your role is in protecting those at risk. It will help you prepare for handling exploitation concerns, think carefully about the language and terminology used and give you confidence to be more vigilant with those you work with.
Find and complete the new Introduction to Exploitation training module online.

Updated Youth Work Network Patlet Board
Our Padlet board has had a bit of a refresh! We've added a few new sections and items. Feel free to use it to share resources, training opportunities and information about new projects. It also has a ‘Q&A’ section where you can get support from your fellow youth workers and answer their queries.
If you’re not used to Padlet and want some help getting started, please contact Charlotte.

Help with Food Costs
As the cost of living crisis escalates, more families will be pushed into food poverty. While it’s not a long-term solution, social supermarkets and community pantries can make a difference. The Nourishing Norfolk Network have a list of food projects they have funded on their website, so please feel free to share this information with families and young people you’re working with.
