Each candidate has prepared a personal statement to support their application. You will see them by clicking on the name of the candidate.

We are thankful that such good candidates have put themselves forward for the available position.

There is one candidate for the position of President of the Network. So an election is not required. The candidate will be announced in Mainz.

We will adopt a new management structure for Businet after the Mainz conference. We have defined the roles for the new general manager and the new deputy general manager. You will find the job descriptions on Basecamp..

If you are interested in one of these roles, we kindly ask you to express your interest by midnight CET on 21 October 2022 by means of a CV and motivation letter. The job interviews will take place on Tuesday afternoon 8 November at the Mainz conference. If it is not possible for you to join us there we will conduct the interview via Zoom. The successful candidates will be put to the AGM for conferment.

You will find the latest Conference programme by clicking here

Currently 208 delegates are registered. You can still register but we will have to check accommodation availability for you.

Jean-Michel Gregoire, of EPHEC Brussels has asked for a series of International weeks to be promoted. You will find full details in the newsroom below

Businet Newsroom

Kind greetings from Brussels !

We are pleased to invite you and your students to one of the international weeks we will organize next spring 2023.

International weeks create a challenging environment for students as they will be working on projects in international groups, mixing as many nationalities as possible.

Participating in such a programme enables students to not only develop technical skills but also develop soft skills like cooperation, flexibility, adaptability, problem-solving capacity.

It’s also an opportunity to network not only for your students but also for one of your lecturers who could act as a coach.

9 different weeks will be organized on our different campuses in Brussels and Louvain-la-Neuve (30 km south of Brussels).

More information about each of these weeks is available on https://www.ephec.be/international-weeks where you’ll also be able to register if you would like to join one of these exciting weeks,

We would like in particular to promote the 2nd edition of our international project week aimed at bachelor students in engineering  (IT, electromechanics, mechatronics and automation in particular)

The project is called From pedal car to phone controlled vehicle and will take place at one of our Brussels campuses from 6 to 10 February 2023.

Students will have to motorize a pedal car, add an Arduino controller and develop a web app to control the vehicle.

Click here to download the promotional flyer

More info is available on https://www.ephec.be/pedal-car-phone-controlled-vehicle and features a teaser film montage shot during the 2022 edition.

It can also be watched on https://youtu.be/OUBc1tP_LoU

Please note that as places are limited (around 25 international students), we will deal with them on a first come, first served basis.

Typically, we would welcome on average 3 or 4 students per participating partner institution.

You could send an accompanying teacher. Teaching mobility can of course be financed by Erasmus+ through your institution’s International Office provided there is an Erasmus+ agreement between your institution and EPHEC.

For further details or questions, do not hesitate to contact my colleague Mr Hugo DELANNOY, Coordinator for this project week (h.delannoy@ephec.be).

NB: If your institution organizes similar international projects in which our own EPHEC students could participate, we would be most happy to hear about them J

We are looking forward to welcoming your students in February 2023.

Best regards,

 Mr Jean-Michel GREGOIRE
