Executive Director's Message

Dear Community Champion, 

I write to you with a special edition of The Hole Story to share some very exciting news from THE PLAYERS Championship. At 10 a.m. today, we announced one of the largest gifts in Championship history. THE PLAYERS will match up to $2 million in donations, dollar for dollar, in support of Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville’s Hand in Hand campaign.  

This gift will ensure funding for the complete redesign and expansion of Nemours Cancer and Blood Disorder Center, which will be called THE PLAYERS Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Our community will be provided with a state-of-the-art facility that will help ensure that children battling cancer have access to the very best care possible, right here in Northeast Florida. 

Thanks to the enduring support of our volunteers, Proud Partners, sponsors, local businesses and fans, we have been able to steadily increase our efforts to be a champion to our community over the years. This historic donation is reflective of our supporters' unwavering commitment to giving back to our community.
