Summary
We had 13 members in attendance at our Wednesday meeting.
Altogether we viewed 43 images: 28 challenge “Itty Bitty”, 9 Non-Challenge and 6 “What Would You Do” images.

Bits and Pieces
Dan showed a before-and-after image of his granddaughter. Before without the Topaz AI fix, and after with the fix. If you go to our Non-Challenge folder and look at #250 you’ll see the difference Topaz AI made. [Note from Dan: the original was a quick iPhone grab shot that was blurry and should have been deleted but I couldn't part with it. Topaz AI improved it immensely with a simple click. Still not great but it demonstrates the incredible ability of AI software of late.]
Real gave a slide show and talk on how and why you might want to stack your images. There was an example image taken with 3 different focus points (or 3 different images) and using Lightroom software he was able to combine the 3 images to create 1 sharp image starting from bottom to the top. Let me know if anyone would like a PDF of this talk. [Ed. Note: Helicon software is a stand alone product that will render your multiple stacked images into a single in-depth result. See the link at the end of this newsletter.]

Next Up
Our next meeting Wednesday November 2nd, is the lower level CHANGEOVER.
I did a rant on how tough it is for Mike and I to get the changeover ready, when we don’t have everyone’s cooperation.
It doesn’t matter if you are hanging new images, leaving your old image up for another go around, or not hanging any image/s, you still need to let me know.
So, the deadline for getting your information (name, title(s) and images) to us is this Sunday October 23rd.
Next Challenge
We watched a Video on 8 Composition Techniques, which was a lead in to our next challenge which is “Composition Techniques”
Use one or a combination of these techniques.
