Social Justice and God’s Economy (Matthew 20:1-18)
Equality vs. Equity. There is a lot of debate these days about which is which and what fairness means. Is equity the equality of opportunity or equality of outcomes? More than that, who gets to decide that question?
Much of what divides us today rests on that question. Join us this Sunday at 10:30a, in person and online, as we search the Word of God for His opinion!

A NOTE FROM PASTOR JERRY
We have a great blessing at Bethany in hosting Emmanuel Myanmar Christian Church (EMCC) in our building. They are the first Burmese church to be a part of Converge in the US! This Sunday, their praise team will join with ours in the worship service, following which we will fellowship together as two churches over a fabulous barbecue lunch featuring “Holy Smokes” and lots of fine Burmese cuisine (don’t forget to bring some Bethany dishes as well!).
The Church of Jesus Christ is inherently diverse in many ways. And while I don’t believe in forcing or artificially engineering a multi-cultural environment, I do believe that our hearts should be wide open to it when God makes it happen. Heaven will be like this! That is why it is such a privilege to be able to partner with EMCC in the space God has provided!
I hope you will be able to come and enjoy this excellent time of fellowship and worship and take the opportunity to get to know some of our brothers and sisters from EMCC!
