Kia ora koutou (hello everyone),

As you may be aware, the New Zealand Nurses Organisation | Tōpūtanga Tapuhi Kaitiaki o Aotearoa recently voted to strike for four hours (10 AM to 2 PM) on Thursday, 27 October. 

During this time, there will be "a complete withdrawal of labour by NZNO members." This strike action means Ruatahi Medical Centre will be unable to provide the following:

• Nursing services
• Test results
• Non-urgent walk-in appointments

The Ruatahi Medical Centre team supports our NZNO members seeking pay parity with nurses employed by Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora (caused by a lack of Government funding). Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
