MEETING DETAILS | Saturday, Oct. 22nd, 9:00 AM

Hi Friend. Thanks for registering for our hike this Saturday! We are looking forward to seeing you face-to-face in the beautiful Eldred King York Regional Forest. This email contains our meeting location and other details. Dress warm and please dress appropriately and bring water to keep you and your dog hydrated. Should you be unable to make it please contact Caroline Wiley (905) 380-3687 so we are not waiting for you!

Please arrive 5 minutes early so you are ready to hike at 9 AM.

Please note that we will be parking and meeting at the trailhead on McCowan Road (not Hwy 48).

Park on McCowan Road near the trailhead.

Let's meet just inside the gate at this sign at 9:00 am.

Here's the trail we will be hiking.

We will be hiking on a 4km groomed trail. You can download the AllTrails Mobile App if you'd like to track our route or would prefer to shorten up your own route once we get moving. There are many beautiful trails within this park!

Please continue to follow all public health rules and hike responsibly and safely. The following rules are in place for all users at the York Regional Forest and its 22 public forest tracts:

ALL dogs MUST be leashed at all times
Do not smoke
Practice physical distancing of at least 2-metres between yourself and other forest users, both on the tracts and in common parking areas
Do not litter, including garbage, gloves and masks and pet waste
Please be kind and act responsibly
