Apply NOW to be a Bethe House Active Citizen for next year!

Bethe active citizen (n.): a generally awesome returning Bethe resident who adds to the community through informal engagement and as a fun neighbor. The ACs are guaranteed a bed in Bethe for 2023-2024. ACs serve three semesters (beginning Spring 2023) and current Active Citizens must reapply if they wish to continue next year.

Only current Bethe House (North, South, & McFaddin) residents are eligible to be Bethe House Active Citizens.

3. Submit the Bethe Active Citizen Application online by 11:59pm on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

Undergraduate Resident Fellow Position on West Campus

Apply to be an Undergraduate Resident Fellow (URF)!

Online Application DUE before 5:00pm pm on Monday, November 14, 2022.

URFs are undergraduate student leaders who serve as pillars of the community in the House. They, are committed to supporting the well-being of individuals and community in the house. An active presence on their floors and helping to facilitate a cohesive community lets the URFs have a pulse on how things are going. They partner with Graduate Resident Fellows to create a healthy community.

Cornell becoming a Health-Promoting Campus

Cornell will be the first Ivy to formally adopt the international Okanagan Charter to become a Health-Promoting Campus. Help celebrate the charter signing with university leaders on Wednesday, October 26 at 3:30 in front of Cornell Health. The first 500 attendees will receive an eco-friendly tote bag.

Free online mental health & nutrition workshops

Cornell Health offers CAPS-led workshops on managing anxiety, improving time management, overcoming imposter syndrome, and other topics, as well as nutrition workshops to help busy students support their nutritional goals. All workshops are free and offered by Zoom.

Fall Fest on the Arts Quad, October 22, 12pm-3pm
Cornell University Program Board, in collaboration with the LGBT Resource Center and the Cornell Ballroom and Drag Club, is proud to present a DRAG BINGO SHOW with drag king LANDON CIDER on Friday, October 28th at 7pm in Call Auditorium for FREE. The show will also feature student performers from the Cornell Ballroom and Drag Club and will include multiple rounds of BINGO with fun PRIZES to be won!

The GRF On-Call phone is only turned on when the House Office is closed.

Reasons to call the GRF On-Call: lockouts after hours, neighbors are being noisy during quiet hours (sounds like a party), the electricity went out in your room, and other similar concerns that cannot wait until the House Office is open again.

Do not call the GRF On-Call to pick up a package from the House Office, to let your friend(s) into the building, or for anything that can wait until the House Office is open.
