During the course of the evening, we heard a thought-provoking conversation on the Equal Rights Amendment, the potential and promise it carries, along with the challenges ahead and the role each of us plays in making the vision of inclusive and equitable gender justice a reality.

Ting Ting Cheng, Director of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) Project at Columbia Law School masterfully facilitated the discussion between Dahlia Lithwick, Senior Editor at Slate and author of Lady Justice: Women, the Law, and the Battle to Save America, and Professor Katherine Franke, Director of the Center for Gender and Sexuality Law at Columbia Law School.

We are grateful to our host, Milbank LLP, for sponsoring this event and welcoming us in this beautiful space, as well as to Wade Leak and the ERA Project Advisory Board for bringing us all together.

If you weren't able to join us, we invite you to watch and share the recording.

The ERA Project is a small team with ambitious goals. We start conversations that no one else is having and connect the dots between the Equal Rights Amendment, reproductive health, LGBTQ rights, racial justice, and religious liberty. We were established in 2021 and operate with a very small staff. Yet, we have already accomplished so much! You can view our materials, including policy briefs, talking points, legal analysis and more here.

Thank you for an incredible night! We hope to see you at future ERA Project events!
