This month has just flown by! It is hard to believe we are almost at the end. That means Candy Crush is just around the corner. This is a fantastic opportunity for families with young children. It is also an excellent event for inviting your friends to participate with you. Fun stations will be set up with activities, games, and even an indoor bouncy obstacle course. And, of course, there will be lots and lots of candy. Come visit the hot drink station and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate while the kids are on the bouncy toys.
Candy Crush is on Sunday, October 30, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. The event is primarily for families with children in 6th Grade and younger. This is a parent-escorted event, not a drop-your-child-off event. There is no charge to attend.
We are expecting a good number of families from our community. The Lynnwood police will be distributing costumes at the CLC on Saturday and invitations to Candy Crush. Brian said we could still use 100+ lbs of candy and a few more volunteers for the various stations. If you can help, click the button in the Candy Crush promo below.
The Celebrate Recovery band will lead worship this Sunday. Barrett Knox will continue our series, WAIT & Renew. He will be covering “The Macedonian Call” found in Acts 16:1-15.
See you Sunday!
