Register Today: EBLL LSHR Amendment Training – November/December 2022

HUD’s Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH) is sponsoring a training series that will help participants review federal lead regulations and discuss the Lead Safe Housing Rule (LSHR) Amendment for pre-1978 housing. Presenters will provide a step-by-step explanation of how Public Housing Agencies (PHAs), grantees, and owners respond to cases of elevated blood lead levels (EBLL) in children less than six years old living in a federally assisted housing unit. Training Objectives

Participants will learn about:

  • Rules and requirements concerning lead-safe work practices
  • The scope, requirements, and key definitions of the LSHR amendment for EBLL response
  • Available resources

Who Should Attend?

This training is relevant for PHAs, grantees, and owners involved in:

  • Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA)
  • Conventional Public Housing Programs
  • Project-Based Assistance (PBA)

Please note: These trainings cannot accommodate HUD staff or consultants at this time. Sessions will be recorded and accessible on the HUD Exchange post-event. Additionally, the content from these sessions was previously delivered in Fall 2019:
