FGM Community Clinic
In our work through FGM, Mojatu will be having a FGM community clinic where we will be offering holistic support and community health advocates. We will be providing support for FGM survivors in a community setting and work with the NHS and FGM specialists enabling the survivors to speak out and access services in a more convenient and simpler manner. This will improve the comfort and willingness of the FGM survivors to access support with specialists but outside a hospital setting thereby being able to speak freely and comfortably about their circumstances, concerns, and the support they need, or they can provide to the services and their communities. If you would like support or know somebody who would benefit from this service, please contact us below.

By Chloe Jones

The birth of a child is a profound and disruptive life-changing event; charities and support specifically for young new dads were difficult to find. This alone may discourage men who are feeling they need guidance to seek it.

FGM Myth Busters
FGM is not an easy topic to navigate. In order to advocate and effectively safeguard the communities affected by the practice, it is necessary to address certain myths that have been perpetuated, and which in turn have prevented the proactive dialogue needed to end FGM in a generation. So here at Mojatu we have made a FGM Myth Busters booklet and FGM guide, in order to shed light on the facts and disproving the fiction regarding the topic.
