15 Days Left to Make a Difference
Make Calls. Canvass. Donate. Text. Cure Ballots. Hold Signs. Recruit Poll Watchers.
Repeat.

Thanks to Our Postcard Writers

Our last couple of weeks of postcard writing were big ones with many writers cranking out many postcards. Thank you to all who wrote at Action Hour, home or both! If you still have postcards and addresses left to write, remember that the mailing deadline is Tuesday, October 25.  Now that postcard writing is over, please shift your attention to other actions if you are not already involved with other campaigning efforts. If you have been reluctant to try something new, think of Eleanor Roosevelt's advice to "do one thing every day that scares you" and also think about how much scarier it will be if we do not help Democrats hold the Senate, the House and critical Governors' offices. Read on for more about the options.

Donate About Force Multiplier | Live Site

Campaigns need our funding help during this final stretch. As it can be hard to decide where to give, we suggest making your choices based on the analysis and recommendations of Force Multiplier and either donating to candidates and voter empowerment groups they identify as the most impactful places for your political donation dollars, or donate to Force Multiplier to divide the money equally among their recommended  candidates and organizations. Review Force Multiplier's website for information and to donate. Every dollar counts!

Wisconsin Ballot Cure Phone Bank · WisDems Voter Protection
Cure Ballots

Ballot curing is a productive, friendly and rewarding way to help ensure that every vote counts. In some states, voters who submit a mail ballot that includes errors have an opportunity to fix those errors so that their vote is counted. These include errors like a missing signature or receipt of the ballot in an unsealed envelope. Ballot cure programs involve calling voters to let them know about the error so that they can fix the issue an make sure their vote is counted. Every call is to someone who wants to and tried to vote; every call goes far to save that vote. These calls are through the Voter Protection Groups of state Democratic parties, and they are made to registered Democrats or likely Democrats.  Currently, the Wisconsin Democrats are training people to cure ballots. Once trained, you can choose to make these calls on your own or during scheduled shifts with support. Sign up here to learn more.

Help Locally

Our State Rep candidates, Dawne Shand for Essex 1 and Kristin Kassner for Essex 2 need our help through Election Day. So, too, do candidates for statewide office, particularly our own Diana DiZoglio who is in a tight race. Here's how you can help:

Help New Hampshire

Let's do all we can to help our neighboring swing state by calling voters, canvassing, helping with voter protection efforts, and continuing to help with direct mail campaigns. Here are some critical options:

Canvass - There is canvassing for Maggie Hassan and Chris Pappas every day between now and Election Day -- in Hampton on Saturdays and Sundays, and in Exeter on Saturdays and Sundays, and every weekday.

Make GOTV Phone Calls: Join Organize NH and Swing Blue Alliance to make calls any day of the week. Register here

Recruit Poll Watchers: Make calls with Organize NH on the next two Mondays at 4-6 pm. Register here

Direct Mail Work for Sen. Hassan: Volunteers are still needed at Journeyman Press at 11 Malcolm Press at 11 Malcolm Hoyt Drive in Newburyport to help get out lots of direct mail. This is both easy and very important work for the campaign, as it saves significant mailing costs that can be used for other persuasion efforts. Complete the form here if you are interested in signing up.

Text Voters

There are many texting opportunities during these last days when campaigns are texting millions of voters to ensure they get out to vote. Join I-RISE and Indivisibles Acton Area and Greater Andover, to train, get signed up and text on Mondays at 12:30-1:30 pm and Thursdays at 3:00-4:00 pm. Once you are trained, you can text on your own schedule. Register here.

Thank You to Our Donors

With thanks to all of you who donated to Indivisible-RISE, we had enough money to comfortable donate $500 to Fair Fight, the national voter protection organization working to help ensure that every eligible voter is able to caste their vote. We appreciate the trust you put in us to use your donations wisely, which we did to finance postcard writing, pay for Evenings of Action, cover the cost of supplies, make this donation, and still have funds for additional expenses that arise.
