Our Eastbourne 'Listening Tour' Begins Tomorrow 

From tomorrow, Saturday 15^th October, our two-week period of engagement with people and groups across Eastbourne as part of our 2022 Listening Tour begins.

We want to speak to and hear from as many people across the Borough as possible, so we can learn more about their experiences of, and aspirations for health and care.

We will use the feedback we receive to make recommendations to support positive changes to local health and care services.

The Eastbourne Listening Tour will kick off tomorrow with our launch event at Foundry in the Beacon Shopping Centre.

Come and share your experiences with us!

Your feedback allows Healthwatch to understand how services are performing, what has been good and where improvement is needed. 

From 10am to 4pm we will be hosting a range of activities including;

• Free health checks provided by ‘One You’ East Sussex
• An Information & Signposting Clinic to help with your health and care queries
• An exercise bike ‘challenge’ with a £10 voucher for the winner
• A conversation café and survey station where you can tell us about your views on health and care
• A marketplace of local health, care and voluntary sector organisations including:

Throughout the tour we are focusing on ‘meeting people where they are’ so we will be visiting a wide range of organisations and locations across the Borough of Eastbourne.

Monday 17^th October
9am - 1pm & 1pm - 5pm Eastbourne District General Hospital
10 am – 1pm Gather, The Beacon, Eastbourne
10 am - 2 pm Eastbourne Library
 
Tuesday 18^th October
9am – 1pm Victoria Medical Centre, Eastbourne
9am – 12pm Eastbourne Town Centre Food Bank
 
Thursday 20^th October
10am - 2pm Langney Shopping Centre
9am - 1pm & 1pm - 5pm Eastbourne District General Hospital
9am - 12pm Langney Food Bank
 
Friday 21^st October
9am – 1pm Digital First, The Beacon Practice
