Engaging Macro-Work to Birth Resilience and Advance Community Collective

We need your help for our research study! Researchers at Wayne State University are trying to understand the needs of professionals within the Infant and Early Childhood fields, concerning professional wellbeing. There is a wealth of information related to how to best support those who are providing direct services to infants, young children, and families through Reflective Supervision; however, there is a lack of information about how to best support all professionals working within the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Landscape and their wellbeing.
We are inviting you to participate in a relaxed focus group facilitated by researchers from Wayne State University. You are eligible to participate in the focus group if you are a professional within an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health program or organization.
There will be two opportunities to participate in this focus group. The focus group will take place over Zoom. The focus group will be audio-recorded only. The audio recording will be transcribed so that researchers can make notes about common responses. Your name will not be included in the transcript, and audio recordings will be deleted once the interview has been transcribed and checked for accuracy. Participants will also be asked to complete a brief demographic survey. Your participation is voluntary.
The information compiled from the focus group will be used by researchers to document the experiences of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health professionals, and their thoughts on professional wellbeing. In addition, results from this study can guide the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Landscape in the development and adaptation of professional wellness policies and practices aimed at supporting all professionals in their roles.
For more information about this research study and your rights as a research participant please see the Research Information Sheet. If you would like to participate in this focus group or have questions, please contact Kristen Holinski and AeYanna Yett at IMH@wayne.edu.
Have a great day,
