We think, if there is one conference to go to this year, this is the one:  We are excited to have over 200 people registered already, and we expect the numbers to keep growing as we get to registration deadline.

This three-day conference is for all leaders: ministers; elders; chaplains; children, youth and families; and community ministry leaders. We believe the One Conference will be an amazing opportunity for all leaders in our Church to gather, connect, worship, upskill and be inspired. 

The One Conference website is filled with all the conference information. We are stoked that the keynote speakers include Richard Black, Fele Nokise, Amy Page-Whiting and Katerina Solomona. These speakers will take us through Ephesians Chapter 4 as we reflect on Te Whakakotahitanga – Gathering as one people under Christ. And with 40 workshops on offer, we believe there will be something for everyone.

At the One Conference there are over 40 breakout session options for you and your team to choose from. Matt and I are directing this conference, so we have worked hard to make as much of the conference relevant for youth leaders as possible including the breakout sessions. Although not all of them specifically mention youth ministry most will be extremely helpful to you.

What is really exciting to us about the One Conference is the chance for whole leadership teams to get on the same page on an important issue. Take mental health for example wouldn’t it be fantastic for your minister, elders and other key staff to come away from this conference with a unified plan to support the mental health challenges that many of our people are facing.
