Working Group Updates and Announcements

MUTUAL AID GROUP

The Mutual Aid WG is raising funds for Hurricane Ian relief (link to miamidsa.org/disaster-relief-fund) as well as our ongoing Miami-based mutual aid programs (link yo bit.ly/mawg-fund). Last weekend, three of our volunteers drove supplies out to Fort Myers and witnessed the devastating effects of the storm first-hand. Please continue to donate to much-needed relief efforts. It will take a lot of work, time, and financial support for residents to recover from the effects of the storm. You can also click here to join our hurricane relief volunteer efforts (bit.ly/ian-volunteer).
Register for our next working group meeting here.

Our Labor Working Group has been quite busy lately! With the new resolution we're excited to push forward with labor related events and workshops to inspire people to internally and externally organize their workplaces. We also have our screening coming up tomorrow! You can register for our next meeting here.

POLI ED WORKING GROUP
Our Working Group is currently working on two initiatives! The first one is a low-capacity, social-focused event in November to bridge the gap between now and December. We will bring together a team to have that curriculum ready by December, at which time we will begin with the first presentation, documentary, reading, etc. If you are interested in helping out with planning these types of events, join us! Register for our next meeting here.

BODILY AUTONOMY WORKING GROUP
