Meet new friends, and get out of your comfort zone at The Salon!
October 2022
Fall Fun Issue
A Spirited October
We might be (somehow) wrapping up the second week of October, but the rest of the month will be a lively one at The Salon. And trust us — you won’t find the events we’ve conjured up anywhere else.
Our music excursion empowers local women artists. Our branding workshop comes with a free headshot. Our gallery adventure involves a meet and greet with the artist herself. And our CBD convo offers a sneak peek (and samples!) of a flagship product. Plus, our harvest potluck doubles as a tarot card reading session, and our pumpkin carving evening comes with free craft cider.
You could say we do things differently at The Salon. That’s no mistake.
All of our events are woman-focused, but our vast community is made of amazingly unique individuals. So we don’t cater to a select few — we offer distinct programming that appeals to different interests, tastes, styles, and curiosities.
Join us this October for one, a few, or all of our community-centered events. The goal is to create new connections, vibe off the positive energy of fellow Pittsburgh women, and leave with a smile on your face (and excited anticipation for the next Salon event).
Until next week,
—Meredith

The Salon is a place to dabble in the unknown. We provide an admittedly eclectic (but community-led!) range of programming. One week, it might be an academic discussing the gender pay gap. Next, it might be wine tasting and hipster puzzles. Indulge in new things with us! And if it makes you a bit nervous, that might be a good thing. Find out for yourself what we’re all about.
Keep an eye out for Blue House Bakery at farmers markets in Bridgeville, Mt Lebanon, Cranberry, and The Strip District. 💙The woman-owned pop-up specializes in gluten-, grain-, and dairy-free cinnamon coffee cakes, lemon lavender shortbread, chocolate chip cookies, and apple hand pies.
