What does each column mean?
Team, division, gym size
- This is how the teams will be announced before performing and in awards
Meet time (MT)
- We will post a photo of where our meet point is at the start of each day
- Athletes MUST be at the meet time in full hair, makeup, uniform and cheer shoes on!!! You cannot be late for this. Leave home with as much extra time as possible.
- You will meet your coordinator and wristbands will be given out to athletes
- Parents then can leave athletes with coordinators
Warm up (WU)
- Team checks in to warmups
- Coaches & athletes on team only allowed in warmups!
Performance time (PT)
- This is the exact time each team will be performing
- We recommend that spectators go in to watch at least 10 minutes before the team’s performance time
Awards
- We encourage all athletes to stay for awards but it’s not compulsory
- You will be asked to stay for the whole awards session. No leaving half way through
Other important info to remember
- Don’t turn up to meet time not completely ready!!
- Venue is cold wear warm clothes/bring warm clothes for athletes to wear after performance
- Coaches have a busy weekend so we are sorry if we can’t stop at talk! We will try our best
- Parents and family members are also representing Ausfunk so do it well! No negative talk, no gossiping and support all gyms/teams.
- They do not provide Professional Photographers at Cheerbrandz Events. You can photograph/film your own gym only.
DO NOT POST ANY VIDEOS OF ROUTINES ON SOCIAL MEDIA UNTIL AFTER LAST COMP OF THE YEAR
Notes for parents:
All the athletes have been working extremely hard the past few months! We as coaches have done everything we can to prepare them for being on stage but it can be very nerve racking for them. They may freak out a little bit before the comp, they will have lots of mixed emotions and after performing could be the same as well. Know that they are all trying their best and we are happy for them no matter what happens on stage! This is their day to shine so keep them calm, happy and be positive in the lead up to the comp
