For anyone who works with data, SQL knowledge is a must. It is considered one of the most user-friendly and robust programming languages and many fields and disciplines use this language to communicate with relational databases. SQL’s flexibility is designed to help you use statements based on English to query a database in multiple ways. Nearly every organization that has to store relational data relies on SQL, including major corporations such as Amazon, Google, and Uber.
This is a practical introduction-intermediate level short course to using SQL for data analysis. It is intended for the business analyst who wants to perform their own data discovery. Explore how to find answers in the data, pitfalls to avoid, and how to take analysis to the next level. Class will be a mixture of instruction and practice and attendees will get significant hands-on experience writing queries with SQL.
This course takes a deep dive into advanced level Power BI skills, covering lesser known but more advanced skills from the Power BI set of features. This course is a continuation of the "Introduction to Power BI" class or the following knowledge is recommended prior to taking this course: how to connect to data, how to build basic data models, basic PowerBI visualizations, and basic DAX knowledge.
