Elections Really Do Have Consequences!

Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez received the most votes in Washington's August CD-3 primary, with Joe Kent (R) coming in second. CD-3's incumbent representative, Jaime Herrera Beutler (R) came in third. That means a moderate Democrat is facing a full-MAGA Republican for this congressional seat in November.

It’s such an important race for Marie to win—and her campaign has been picking up major steam since this NYT article painted a clear contrast between Marie and extremist GOP candidate Joe Kent.

Please help Marie continue to get her name and message out!

Postcards on Wednesday - Finishing lists for Catherine Cortez Masto

We meet in person upstairs at the T&C on Winslow Way, Wednesdays, 2 pm to 3:30 pm. You can stay and write or take cards home and return them the next week.

We're finishing up the 2022 midterm postcard writing effort by writing in support of the re-election of Democratic Senator, Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada.

Last week, we finished up a quick 100-address list in support of Sen. Raphael (D-GA). These cards had to be in the mail by Oct. 12, and we made it! We also finished up a 100-address list for Cheri Beasley, the Democratic candidate for an open U.S. Senate seat in North Carolina.

We get our national addresses and scripts from Activate America. Their last day to distribute addresses will be Oct. 25. Our last meeting of Postcards on Wednesday will be Oct. 26.

Can't make it to Postcards on Wednesday? Pick up postcards from Holly's front porch and email Kathy for the script.

How our postcard program works.

If you can't write postcards but want to help with the cost of postcards and stamps so that others can write, please email Kathy or drop off money for stamps at Holly's house. Postcard stamps have gone up to 44 cents each. We could really use the help!
