Our vision:
Mountain Chapel invites you to join us in a day of God's presence and power. Our special guest Wendy Backlund will be leading us to unknown heights of experiencing the power and presence of God.
It will be a time to experience Him more completely and encounter the joy that comes through worshipping Him. We believe the Holy Spirit draws us to the heart of God, enabling us to love Him more fully.
We expect this day to be a day that will open your eyes to see the heart of Jesus and open your heart to experience GOD!

It's that time of year again! The time for Operation Christmas Child is upon us, and we have the wonderful opportunity to partner with Pastor Jesse and Weaverville Church of the Nazarene! They have received generous donations toward Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and have done all the shopping! Now, they need help filling all of the boxes!
We will be heading over to the Nazarene church after church on Sunday, October 23rd for a potluck and to fill as many shoeboxes as we can! Please bring a dish to share if you are able and come ready to work hard to fill shoeboxes with treasures for little boys and girls all over the world!
There will be a sign up sheet in the lobby after church this Sunday, so be sure to sign up and bring the whole family!

We are excited to launch this Sunday with handing out boxes for our church body to fill for Operation Christmas Child! Please, pick one (or three) up this Sunday to bless some precious children this Christmas!

The Soup Kitchen is an amazing opportunity to serve our community in a practical and meaningful way!
You can sign up to serve with whatever frequency you are able - weekly, twice a month, monthly - whatever works for you! We would love to have you on the team!

Carrie's focus in these classes is gentle and restorative yoga, so all levels are welcome and encouraged to come!
|
|
|
We will be open for pickup and delivery in Weaverville and for pickup in Douglas City at the DC Fire Station.
This week, we are serving cheesy tuna noodle casserole, fruit, and dessert.
