Fall is supposed to be fun, right!?  Love Learning Music has fun fall events for families in our Nashville area communities!  Please enjoy exciting updates in this month's newsletter.
Sensory Session November 14th

Please spread the word so families can bring their children to a fun event!  Love Learning Music is providing a free music therapy sensory session for children ages 2-12 on November 14th at 4:00 PM at the Linebaugh Library in Murfreesboro.  This event is perfect for children who benefit from specific sensory experiences.  We will be using music to play fun games and teach activities to children and families so they can stimulate their sensory needs and learn how to regulate their emotions and behavior better. :)

Music To Improve Development

Love Learning Music has an exciting partnership with Early Autism Services to provide services using music to help improve development for children with special needs.  Early Autism Services is an amazing organization that provides awesome therapy services for children with autism, ADHD, and other special needs.  Every week, Jean-Pierre, an amazing Love Learning Music team member, is providing multiple sessions with groups of children to aid in their development.  Using music, this program is specifically helping children to overcome challenges and improve the development of social connections, listening to others, following directions, practicing good behavior, and communication skills!  We would like to give a special thanks to the Love Learning Music team for helping write lesson plans and supporting Jean-Pierre.  Thanks to all of the donors who make our services possible, and to Jean-Pierre and Early Autism Services for helping the children and families every day!

Early Autism Services' Fall Family Fair!
The Early Autism Services Fall Family Festival is a great opportunity for families to have safe fun for free!  We encourage all families to attend this event on Saturday, October 22nd from 12-3 PM @ Early Autism Services Clinic, 640 Grassmere Park #116, Nashville, TN 37211.  Of course, Jean-Piere will be there representing Love Learning Music and Early Autism Services, as he is a dual team member.  Please let families know about this wonderful event!  It’s not only a good time for all families but a chance for children and families to get help with overcoming some special needs struggles.

Spreading Our Programs to
New Communities
Last month, we shared an update on a Love Learning Music trip to send some amazing professionals to Costa Rica.  Love Learning Music will work with locals from the entire region of Costa Rica, providing training on how to work with children who have special needs using music.  This trip has been postponed to April 2023. The amazing organization we are partnering with is providing a special luncheon for parents, kids, and professionals instead of our trip.  We are hoping to send financial support and therapy/educational resources for this luncheon to bless the people there with the tools they need to help children with special needs.  Together, we can fund sensory swings for children with special needs, therapy resources, musical instruments, and educational resources like school supplies, books, etc.  Please consider joining in this mission.  You can contribute by donating any amount that makes your heart happy, please click the “donate” button below. :)

New Music Therapist Joining the Team!
Love Learning Music is in the process of hiring a new team music therapist!  We need as many therapists as possible to meet the needs of children on our growing waitlist.  The mental health crisis caused by the pandemic lockdown has been very difficult for many families, and Love Learning Music is consistently providing services to help children overcome trauma, mental health struggles, and all obstacles they face while growing up.  We are excited to add a new passionate team member.  Please pray and consider supporting a child in need of therapy services today!
