Well, last week was really special! I was sorry to miss it (I had a cold) but I watched it online and it was so heart-warming to see how everyone stepped up and helped Rev. Maurene carry on even though the musician and I were both no-shows. It brought to mind the part of the story of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, where even after the tree and gifts were gone, the "Who's of Who-ville" joined hands in song. Special thanks to Verla, Morgan & Norm for their song-leading!
That's a wonderful demonstration of abundance in action. Having what you really need to make it through your day, even if your day isn't going exactly as you expected.
If you missed it, you can catch it online on Facebook and while you're there, don't forget that Rev. Dr. Ahmondra has created weekly videos for our Facebook page that are popping up even though she's been traveling across the USA. You don't need to be a member to look at our Facebook page because we have a "business page," although Facebook will certainly invite you to sign up.
It's rained this morning and what a good thing that was. The sun came out too, although I can't really see it now because of all the clouds in the way. Some good things are obvious, some are hidden, but they are there nonetheless. All we have to do is just stop for a minute to pay attention and notice. Then gratitude rises up in our inner life, just as dependably as the sun rises up in our outer life. This Sunday happens to be 40 days before Thanksgiving, and now is the perfect time to begin to stop and take a look around, and give thanks for all the Good now unfolding.

Spiritual Mind Treatment:

For a moment, I stop and let the inner and outer sounds subside, as I take in a breath and become completely conscious again. I am conscious of the beautiful Allness, in which I live and have my being, along with all the other ones that are part of this Allness that is also the Oneness.
And in this space of recognizing the All Good Oneness, I reflect and remember that the inner me and the outer me are one and the same, one I-am-ness in the eternal now. In the eternal now in which we all live and laugh and cry, I am aware of the Love as the spark of the Great I-Am. It is good to stop and breathe and remember. I let my stillness calm my whole world, our whole world. I let go of fear and I rejoice in faith, knowing Good is at hand here and now.
Breathing easily, I feel grateful for this wonderful teaching that gives me such comfort, as I move through life with grace and ease, knowing all is well, now and forever more. And so it is.

Abundance Meditation #5:

From Spiritual Economics, by Eric Butterworth

Jesus clearly articulated the divine law: "Give, and it will be given to you" (Lk.6:38). The divine flow requires but one thing of you: your consent to be a receiving channel. It is like the water faucet which must be opened to the flow in order that the water may pour forth freely. Jesus was stressing the need to get into a giving consciousness in order to sustain the flow of good into your life. He did not mean simply money giving. Often the religious book or teacher will talk out of a self-interest and insist that the giving must go to the church. The giving is a state of consciousness that may eventuate (unfold) in many different ways. But the important thing is to think, give! Say to yourself, "I will think give today. I will think give every day of my life." The law is clear. It promises: Think give, and you will get. It is a fundamental key to achieving prosperity.
