  • The Nicasio Valley Pumpkin Patch is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, until Halloween. Weekend activities include hayrides, pony rides, live music, barbecue, face painting and more. 
  • Nicasio Outdoor Movie Night in Nicasio from 5pm to 8:45pm, The Lion King starts at 7pm, a fundraiser for the Nicasio School. More info here.
  • The Dale Polissar Trio with Si Perkoff plays danceable jazz standards from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the William Tell House, in Tomales. 
  • The film “Elvis” shows at 6:30 p.m. at the Bolinas Community Center. Free. 
  • Don Forbes and Reckless plays at 7:30 p.m. at Rancho Nicasio. $15. Reservations required at www.ranchonicasio.com
  • The Rock Sisters play old-time bluegrass and country at 6 p.m. outdoors at Smiley’s Schooner Saloon, in Bolinas. $10 tickets at www.smileyssaloon.com.

Saturday

  • The Point Reyes Farmers Market takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Toby’s Feed Barn. The Tomales Bay Mud Flats plays music on the outdoor stage at 9:30 a.m.
  • An artist reception for an exhibit of flower and vegetable monotypes by Carol Hake takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. at Gospel Flat Farmstand in Bolinas, with an artist talk at 2 p.m. The exhibit shows through October. 
  • Americana and roots singer-songwriter Jackie Greene plays at 4 p.m. for a Barbecue on the Lawn at Rancho Nicasio. $30. Reservations at www.ranchonicasio.com. 
  • Juice Friends sing rock n’ soul covers at 6 p.m. outdoors at Smiley’s Schooner Saloon, in Bolinas. $10 tickets at www.smileyssaloon.com.
  • Itasca, plus Alex Bleeker and Friends, play at 7 p.m. at Bolinas Hardware.
  • Michael Michael Motorcycle plays at 9 p.m. at the Papermill Creek Saloon, in Forest Knolls. 
Sunday
  • Blue Waters Kayaking hosts a benefit paddle for the Alliance for Felix Cove at 9 a.m. at Heart’s Desire Beach. Proceeds will support the upcoming event, “Re-Indigenizing Tamal-liwa: Welcoming Our Relatives Back to Tomales Bay.” $118. Register at www.bluewaterskayaking.com/master-theme/.
  • Ernesto Sanchez unveils his new work, “The Coyote Shaman,” from 2 to 4 p.m. at his studio in Point Reyes Station. Featuring performances by singer-songwriter Rose Chapman, poetess Zayra Yves, Action Theater artist Claire Peaslee and more. Refreshments served and masks appreciated.
  • A celebration of The Bolinas Hearsay News takes place from 2 to 6 p.m. on the Bolinas plaza with live music, food, raffles, an auction and more. 
  • Michael Pinkham’s MaxPower Jazzers play at 3 p.m. outdoors at Smiley’s Schooner Saloon, in Bolinas. $10 tickets at www.smileyssaloon.com.
