Alpine Skating Club is pleased to offer a Janet Champion Spin Clinic on Sunday, November 6th at Apex Ice Arena from 11:30-5:30. Lunch will be served.
There are a limited number of spots available. Full Alpine members will be given priority with Associate members added if space permits. If you sign up, it is crucial that you participate! We always have a waiting list and want to offer this to as many skaters as possible. Deadline is OCT 22nd! Thank you!

Congratulations to Karina Minson who competed in her first National Qualifying Series competition at the Autumn Classic in Austin, TX, at the Juvenile level. When asked what her experience was like, this is what she wrote:
"It has been my personal goal this year to participate in a NQS competition. When I was on the plane, I was feeling nervous, but when we got there it wasn't that bad. I saw my friends, they helped me to take my mind off the competition. Also, I kept telling myself if I tried mu best, then everything would be fine. I had a lot of fun and made a good experience for me. From this experience, I know that I can do much better next season. I will be prepared with more complicated jumps, spins, and choreography."

Another big congratulations to Allison Duan who also competed at the Autumn Classic in Austin, TX at the intermediate level. Allison is ranked 4th overall in the southwest and has qualified to compete at sectionals in Lansing, MI. We would all like to wish her good luck and are very proud to have Allison represent Alpine Skating Club at sectionals!
