The total maximum rebate amount for the lifetime of a property is $6,000 for residential properties and $20,000 for commercial, industrial, and institutional properties. Please note that the total maximum rebate amount has increased from $4,000 to $6,000 as of March 2022. So, if you previously had reached the cap, you may be able to apply for more projects now!

Maryland Selects GHEP to Support State's 5 million Tree Program in Prince George's County
Good news! GHEP is one of the few organizations selected to support the Maryland 5 million tree program--called the Urban Trees Program. Thanks to this partnership, GHEP will plant thousands of free trees across private properties in Prince George's.
Enacted by the Maryland General Assembly, the Urban Tree Grant Program seeks to green communities, enhance the quality of life, human health, and community livability by improving air quality and reducing the urban heat island effect; and mitigate some of the effects of climate change.
FTAP is excited to be working with the Chesapeake Bay Trust, the Prince George's County Department of the Environment, and several communities and faith-based partners to bring the benefits of this program home to our residents. Don't miss out. Click the button to reserve your free trees.
