Halloween Carnival and Dance:

Save the date for a howling good time!

The Pueblo Leadership Society will be hosting "Boo Blast!", a Halloween Carnival and Dance on October 29, 2022.

The Carnival begins at 4:00 pm. Carnival tickets are 5 for $1; use these tickets to purchase treats, play games, and win prizes. There will be a costume contest at 6:00 pm so don your spookiest duds (but not too scary- no blood, weapons, or full face masks please!). Finally, the Dance will begin at 8:00 pm; admission will be $2.

We look forward to seeing all you ghouls, ghosts, and goblins there!

For questions, contact Jen

Halloween Carnival Auction Donations:

The Leadership Society will also be hosting a Pennsylvania Auction at the Halloween Carnival and is accepting donations!

If you have any items you would like to donate to the Leadership Society, please contact Jen and make arrangements to drop your items off at the CSU Extension Office.

Dare To Be You Camp 2022:

Can you survive danger in paradise?

2022 Dare To Be You Camp will be November 18 and 19 on the Colorado State Fairground. This year's theme is "Shipwreck Cove." Tropical islands are full of festivity, culture, and tradition- but also are subject to some of mankind's most terrifying natural disasters. Come test your skills and make friends in an exciting overnight experience!

DTBY Camp is open to Intermediate members (Age 11-13 on December 31, 2022). Cost is $55, paid to the Pueblo County CSU Extension office. You must be enrolled and active in 4-H for the 2022-2023 year. Registration will be in 4HOnline.

For questions, contact Jen

Yarn Fest 2022:

The High Plains Shooters 4-H Club has a Community Service opportunity and they are inviting all 4-H members to participate. They will crochet, knit, loom, and/or assemble hats, earwarmers, and scarves for the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Pueblo, CO. You don't need any previous experience with yarn work; there will be experienced leaders happy to help newcomers.

First meeting will be November 4th from 2-5 PM in the CSU Extension Office. For questions or more information, please contact Joslyn Rafferty-Cammer or Emma Rafferty at 719-248-5841 or by email
