We're Having a Party!

It's almost been two years since we cut the ribbon and opened Hilltop Clinic full time! As we celebrate the clinic's second year of full-time operation, we would love for everyone who has volunteered in the past year to come and celebrate with us. Volunteers who will attend are asked to help in some capacity before, during, and/or after the event.

Thursday, November 3

Hilltop Clinic Two-Year Anniversary Celebration

Description: Indoors, low-medium physical activity level depending on role

Since our ribbon cutting on November 2, 2020, Hilltop Clinic has been growing and impacting lives in SW OKC and the surrounding areas! Friends of the organization are invited to join us for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship as we celebrate what the Lord has done through Hilltop Clinic. Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to:

Meet the employees and volunteers who carry out the daily operations of the clinic
Hear the story of a Hilltop Clinic patient family first-hand
Participate in a silent auction
Taste homemade salsa recipes and vote for their favorites
Contribute to the future success and impact of Hilltop Clinic

In order to pull off this event as smoothly as possible, we will need a number of volunteers to fill roles such as:

Set Up and Clean Up
Registration/Welcome Table
Silent Auction Monitoring
Salsa Contest Serving / Monitoring
Photography / Videography (especially our Facebook Live Stream)
Collecting Donations

Fall Into a Good Book / Fall Party

Description: Dress up as your favorite book character, low-medium physical activity level

Coolidge Elementary is encouraging reading with their Fall Into a Good Book event! Literacy is a major determinant of health, and Hilltop Clinic has been invited to share information about our services with students and their families. Costumes are encouraged! Come dressed as your favorite book character!

Adult Clinic

Since Christ Community Health Coalition was started in December 2014, we have been holding clinics for uninsured adults on the 4th Tuesday evening of every month from 6:00pm to about 8:30 pm. These monthly clinics consistently require a good number of volunteers to run smoothly. We already have physicians scheduled to come and see the patients, but every month we also need two nurses, two or more Spanish-English interpreters, and two or more people who can count pills, make copies, and assist with other similar tasks. This is an awesome opportunity to share the healing love of Jesus with our neighbors in a practical way! The last 2 upcoming adult clinics for 2022 are listed below, along with who has already committed to being there. Let Clarissa know if there is a volunteer spot you would like to take!

Other News to Know

Volunteer Sign-In

We now have a volunteer sign-in sheets that can be found on clipboards a the Front Desk and in the Nurse's Station at Hilltop Clinic. This helps us track volunteer hours for grants and annual reports. Please sign in and out when you come to volunteer. So far in 2022, we have been able to record over 1300 volunteer hours between 45 unique volunteers. With volunteer time valued at $29.95/hour, you all have donated more than $38,000 worth of time this year! THANK YOU
