Welcome!

We are so pleased to announce that Tea With Coffee Media FINALLY has a monthly newsletter!

In this newsletter, we will share announcements about upcoming publications, updates on current projects, publishing and querying tips, blog posts, and extras!

So lets get started!

Kelsey Anne Lovelady has been a busy author these last few months!

Last month, she published her first murder mystery, and this month, she is publishing her first women's fiction novel "Indifferent"!

Indifferent tells the story of Elena Austen, who is struggling to get over her first major heartbreak. Desperate for help, she finally goes to a therapist who prescribes her a new drug that dampens human emotions to the point of indifference.

How will this drug help Elena on her healing journey? And will it do more harm than good?

Indifferent published November 15th!
We opened our doors in February 2022 with one goal in mind. Helping independent authors find more and great success.

With more authors starting their own publishing companies these days, we want to share the knowledge that we learn through our experiences. We don't want to gatekeep that information while we watch other people make the same mistakes we've made. Rising waters raise all ships.

So in this section of our monthly newsletter, we will include information to help others who have started or want to start their own publishing companies!
As stated earlier in this letter, Kelsey Anne Lovelady has FINALLY (after much deliberation and convincing) published her first murder mystery novel "Permanent Reminders".

Jaz Dilan's life as a NYC tattoo artist is flipped upside down when a young woman is found dead. Now, dead bodies are nothing new in the concrete jungle, but this body is different; it bares the tattoo calling card of a serial killer who is supposed to be serving a life-sentence on the other side of the country. And Jaz has a personal connect with the tattoo in question.

Jaz is forced to become an amateur detective and find the real killer. For the sake of her mental health alone.

How to be a writer?

A question that almost every author has probably Googled in the early parts of their writing careers. Sure, the main act of being a writer is as simple as putting words in paper in some fashion or another. But there are a lot of aspects of being an author that aren't covered. What medium is best? How do I find a literary agent or a publisher? How do I self-edit or find a professional editor?

And to make things worse, there are a million scams and vanity publishers out there that will take advantage of people\s lack of experience and knowledge.

But we're here to help! In this section, we will offer tips and tricks we have learned from our own experiences.
Happy National Novel Writing Month!

We have a few members of our board of directors joining in the fun this year. Kelsey Anne Lovelady is working on her first paranormal romance that she got an early start on. Our president, Tyler Wittkofsky, is working on the sequel to his romance "The Seeds of Love", and K. Kalor is working on the second book in her "Generations of Humanity" series.

Are you participating this year? Let us know how you're doing!
President Tyler Wittkofsky and VP of Publishing Kelsey Anne Lovelady are happy to announce our new podcast!

"Cook the Books" is a podcast dedicated to helping author find the perfect author recipe. We will be discussing hot topics in the writing world, aspects of writing, and we'll even have special guests on who specialize in these topics.

The first episodes drops on ___ on all podcast streaming platforms.
As a publishing company, we see dozens of submissions every day. And while we do our best to see the best in every submission, we see some easy-to-avoid mistakes on a regular basis.

Now, we get it. Querying and submitting sample of your work is a difficult process for plenty of reasons. It's nerve-wracking. You have no idea if you're reaching actual people or just a computer. You know you're competing with every other writer out there. The list goes on.

And if we can help make it easier (or at least not so scary), we're going to.

In this section, we will provide tips about querying based on mistakes and issues that we have seen in the past.
