Special Board Meeting - Budget Review
Thursday, Oct. 20th at 5:30 p.m.

A Special Meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening, October 20th, to review and discuss the proposed 2023 District Budget. The Board will not take action to approve the draft budget until the November 8th meeting.

Lighting Inspection Update
AMI recently completed a lighting inspection at night to monitor for non-builder installed exterior lighting violations that can't be observed during the day. View the Inspiration community guidelines for non-builder installed exterior lighting rules. The main items noted were string and soffit lights on after 10 pm and excessive up-lighting of homes and trees. Often this extraneous light shines into neighbor's adjacent windows or creates excessive light which inhibits the viewing of dark night skies. Read more about Douglas County’s Dark Sky Initiative.

If you receive a notice, as with all initial violation notices, there is no fine assessed as long as you remedy the violation in a timely manner.  You can contact AMI to get more time if needed to resolve a violation.  Contact Sharon Sulzle with questions via email sharon@amihoa.com or call 303-351-5411. The next lighting inspection is slated for the first two weeks of November, weather permitting.
Piney Creek Trail Extension - Aerial Footage of Location
For those interested in the upcoming trail extension project but who were unable to join the walking tour, we have new aerial footage showing the location. The trail will link to the broader trail network once Inspiration Metropolitan District has built our portion and the City of Aurora has completed their connecting portion.

The video shows the birds' eye view of the approach to our existing trail stub on the northeast edge of the Inspiration neighborhood. The orange square on the map is where the trail will link to our path, near the dog park location.
