Recently Khushi Shahand Juliah S. Championhave been appointed as Regional Communication Managers for the Asia-Pacific Region. They are delighted to take on the challenge and look forward to the journey over the next two years.
"As Communication Managers, we are looking to showcase the culture, individuals, collectives, technologies, and innovations of the Asia Pacific Community. With our backgrounds in Engineering, Art, and Design we will bring our knowledge, research, and achievements to SGAC's global audience and beyond. We’re also looking forward to building an outstanding identity for the Asia-Pacific region creating an environment where the space sector is more accessible, appealing, and relatable to the general public. We would love to help the members with their interests & ventures in space. As well as to inspire curiosity and interest amongst students & young professionals while accelerating the growth of the SGAC community."
SGAC is looking for motivated and committed volunteers to bring their expertise and knowledge to the organisation of the 9th Asia Pacific Space Generation Workshop (AP-SGW) which is to be held in Bangalore, India tentatively on 18 and 19 February 2023.
Apply today to be your country's National Point of Contact (NPoC)! NPoCs are volunteers acting as contact points for SGAC in their country, forming a local team coordinating SGAC activities at the national level. Each country can have up to two NPoCs who work together to coordinate SGAC activities in their country.
For the Asia-Pacific region, we have vacancies for the following countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor (Timor-Leste), Fiji, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia (Federated States of), Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, New Zealand, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Tajikistan, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, and Vietnam
